HR Coordinator
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as a trusted resource for faculty, staff, and administrators, delivering high-quality, customer-focused HR support. You will provide operational and administrative assistance across key HR functions—including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement—while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and departments, providing timely and professional HR support.
- Coordinate job postings and assist hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure new hires feel welcomed and supported.
- Process employment changes in the HRIS and maintain accurate personnel records.
- Coordinate annual and new hire training and track participation.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure seamless information flow and accuracy.
- Assist with audits and reporting for compliance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
- Promote initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and institutional culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field. Relevant professional experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
- Experience: 1–3 years of HR or customer service experience; higher education experience preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
