General Description:

The Student Affairs office has an opening for an Office Assistant in August 2025.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide front desk and phone coverage
  2. Assist with filing and data entry tasks
  3. Assist with copying, sorting, and shredding materials
  4. Schedule appointments as needed for the office
  5. Conduct research and compile information as requested
  6. Make deliveries to other campus offices
  7. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  1. Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full time (minimum of 12 credit hours)
  2. Must be detail oriented and organized
  3. Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
  4. Strong customer service and problem solving skills
  5. Previous experience working with Microsoft Office
  6. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Number of hours per week: 10-20

Schedule: Varies week to week

Number of positions available: 1-2

Rate of Pay: $8.25
