Occupational Summary:
The Project Coordinate for the Newman University Behavioral Health Education Social Work Trainees (NU-BEST) program through the HRSA BHWET grant project will manage the day-to-day operations of the (BHWET) grant program. This role is integral to the success of the BHWET grant program, supporting the development of a highly skilled behavioral health workforce committed to addressing community needs. As the first point of contact for students, faculty, and agency partners, the Project Coordinator will interpret program guidelines, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless communication among all stakeholders. This role requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about advancing behavioral health education and workforce development through high-quality program coordination, teaching, and training facilitation in higher education.
In addition to program management, this role involves teaching and training facilitation within higher education, ensuring that students receive high-quality, evidence-based instruction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, a deep understanding of behavioral health initiatives, and the ability to adapt to the evolving landscape of community-based care. This position is ideal for those who are dedicated to fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in social work education and practice.
