Adjunct - Masters of Social Work (Field)

Position Summary
This adjunct position reports to the Director of Field Education and will act as a Field Practicum Liaison that serves as the primary connection between the MSW program, field agencies, and students. This role ensures that students’ practicum experiences are educationally sound, aligned with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) competencies, monitoring the field LMS platform-Tevera, and supportive of student success in developing as professional social workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between the university and field agencies, ensuring clear communication about expectations and responsibilities.
  • Assist with the field education LSM platform - Tevera
  • Support field instructors by clarifying program requirements, providing resources, and addressing any placement concerns.
  • Participate in site visits and ongoing evaluations of field placements.
  • Review student evaluations completed by agency field instructors
  • Provide input on student performance and contribute to grading in collaboration with the Director of Field Education
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records for accreditation compliance. Ensure that practicum placements meet CSWE 2022 EPAS competency requirements.
  • Provide feedback to the Field Education Director on agency quality, student readiness, and practicum challenges.
Qualifications
  • Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program required.
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or higher preferred.
  • Experience in social work practice and/or supervision in a variety of settings.
  • Familiarity with higher education, student mentoring, and accreditation standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


Pay:  $1800 for fall semester
