Occupational Summary:
The Career Services Marketing and Communications Intern will implement multiple marketing platforms for the Director of Career Services including, but not limited to, Career Fair and workshop campaigns. Additionally, the Intern will be required to spearhead all communication plans with external employers working with Newman University Career Services. This includes answering Career Fair related questions, writing follow-up thank you communications, and encouraging businesses to complete Career Fair satisfaction surveys. The Marketing and Communications Intern will also oversee the Career Services LinkedIn page, answering questions, responding to comments, and updating available positions and workshops as needed. The individual holding this position will support Handshake tasks including approving employers and walking students through sign ups. Lastly, the Career Services Marketing and Communications Intern will help the Director of Career Services with other necessary related tasks.
