Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to meet enrollment goals specific to Newman University.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Maintain accurate records and reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Contribute to the planning and execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment events.
Stay informed about trends and best practices in undergraduate recruitment and admission.
Participate in the evaluation of admission applications and decision-making processes.
Provide leadership and mentorship to admission counselors, including training and professional development.
Analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create engaging recruitment materials and campaigns.
Conduct information sessions, campus tours, and admission interviews.
Establish and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and prospective students.
Represent Newman at high school visits, college fairs, and community events throughout Kansas and surrounding regions.
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in undergraduate admission, recruitment, or related sales or education field. Preferred 5 years of experience in these areas.
Proven record of accomplishment of meeting enrollment goals or KPIs and developing successful recruitment strategies. Preferred background of higher education recruitment and meeting enrollment targets for designed territories.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Proficiency with sales CRM. Preferred Slate, Jenzabar and/or PowerFAIDs experience.
Experience in corporate partnership development.
Experience with digital marketing and social media recruitment strategies.
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
Familiarity with financial aid and scholarship processes.
Ability to speak a second language.
