Preferred Specialization: Moral Theology (other areas considered)
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Theology from an accredited institution
- Willingness to seek and maintain the mandatum, in accordance with Ex Corde Ecclesiae
- 1–3 years of undergraduate teaching experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
- Preferred: More than 3 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Catholic theology
- Teaching within Newman’s general education curriculum
- A standard teaching load of 24 undergraduate credit hours (or 18 graduate hours) per academic year, or an equivalent combination
- Advising and mentoring students
- Participating in committee service and broader university life
- Contributing to scholarly research and publication
