Adjunct - Business Administration
Occupational Summary:
Newman University, a mission-driven, catholic, liberal arts university, is recruiting for an adjunct position in Business Administration. Disciplines to be taught may include: Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Leadership, Business Analytics, Agribusiness, etc. Candidates must hold at least a Master's in Business Administration. Courses taught will be determined according to the individual's training and experience. Professional experience is a plus.

This position is responsible to cultivate and maintain the institution’s Catholic identity and its mission to empower graduates to transform society. Work Performed:
- Teach courses appropriate to academic qualifications, in online and/or face-to-face learning environments.
- Inform students of their progress by promptly returning graded assignments, quizzes, and exams with appropriate feedback.
- Submit mid-term and final grades on Jet Stream by designated deadlines.
- Utilize the Learning Management Systems, i.e. Canvas, and other technology as appropriate.
- Report performance assessment data as required/requested.
- Consult with the Dean or Assistant Dean of the School of Business regarding concerns.

Required Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills/Training:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- A Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
- Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with university faculty and staff, students, and the general public.
- Must be able to teach onsite in Wichita, Garden City or Dodge City, Kansas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Evidence of excellence in university teaching.
- Interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Evidence of successful decision making in a collaborative environment.
