Student - Humanities/Catholic Studies Office Assistant
General Description:
The School of Catholic Studies and Humanities Department has a current opening for an Office Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with copying, faxing and data entry tasks
- Sort and distribute mail
- Design posters and other print materials as needed
- Campus errands
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours).
- Must reliable, organized, and responsible and able to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Publisher, Outlook) is a plus.
- Prior office experience preferred.
- Creative thinking skills and an artistic eye are also very helpful.
Number of hours per week: 10 – 20
Hours: Flexible as long as the student is consistent and dependable

Rate of Pay: $8.25 per hour
