Student - Mail & Copy
General Description:
The Newman University Mail and Copy Department is looking for a student worker to assist with copy/print jobs, mailings, and various office tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming mail and packages with the tracking system.
- Perform mail deliveries and pick-ups from all locations outside of the Sacred Heart Administration Building.
- Process outgoing USPS mail and packages with the postage meter.
- Assist incoming students, staff and faculty with delivery of packages, purchasing stamps, making copies, faxing, and general questions.
- Complete University-required trainings.
- Delivering cases of paper to departments and other duties, as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Must be accurate and detail oriented
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to 4 hours and able to lift up to 50 lbs
Number of hours per week: Approximately 10-20 hours per week
Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 9am – 5pm.
Number of positions available: 1-2
Rate of Pay: $8.25 per hour
